It's a beautiful, sunny day here in Michigan! This weather isn't going to last much longer, but at least it gives us hope that winter is pretty much over. Actually, as much as I love the spring and summer weather, this is the first time I have mixed feelings about it. Mike is already working a little bit longer days. Right now he is able to help with the boys' first and last feedings of the day. It won't be long and he'll be going in too early to help with the first feeding, and later in the summer there'll probably even be days that he misses the last feeding. Yes, I can do feedings on my own, it's just so much nicer to have an extra set of hands around - especially when that extra set of hands is Mike's. :) I'm very thankful he works close to home so we can visit (we took advantage of that today!).

Caleb continues to roll over quite often. I'm not sure if he's aware yet of what's happening. :) He's still not super vocal, but when he does 'talk' it's SOOOO cute. And he does laugh once in a while, which is super adorable. Of course, it's driving Mike nuts that he can't get Caleb to laugh for him, but he'll talk and laugh for most women that give him attention. Knowing their dad, it doesn't surprise me one bit that both Caleb and Logan are good shmoozers with the ladies. Caleb loves to chew on his fingers. I hope this doesn't mean he's got teeth on the way already, I'm not ready for that! For those of you that have seen him, you know he has my long, skinny fingers - it's kind of funny, sometimes when he's chewing his fingers he ends up gagging himself a little because his fingers go in so far!

Logan has rolled over once more, but that's it. We'll keep practicing! He continues to be very vocal, he has such a sweet voice!! Just makes me melt when he looks up at me, eyes twinkling, batting those long eyelashes, cracks a big grin and coos. He does a little bit of hand chewing as well. The boys keep getting more active and alert, it's so much fun!
I have been feeling so thankful for the good health the Lord has given each of us. I know of a set of triplets that were born a couple months before Logan and Caleb, and I think they are doing well now, but really had a rough start. What a blessing that our boys were born healthy and could go home right away! And yesterday a man I know died of a heart attack. He was 32 years old and left behind a wife, 3 kids, parents, brothers... At least his family can be assured of where he is spending eternity. An event like that really makes me stop and think about my priorities, and be thankful for the moments I have with loved ones.
hoooooooooooooooooow cuuuuuuuute!!!!!!!!!
