I always love seeing how sweet my kids look when they are sleeping, but I especially enjoy it at the end of a day where the terrible two's were in full force for BOTH of them. For those of you doing the math, one two-year-old plus another two-year-old doesn't mean I've just got two kids to try and parent, having them together just compounds the challenge so it's really more than just double. BUT, it can also be more than double the fun! :) This just wasn't one of those days.
I sat at the table and ate my lunch while two boys on either end of the table sat turned away from the table, screaming/crying/whining in "time out" until they could calm down. It took awhile, but eventually they were able to rejoin me and that was much more pleasant. :)
And now they're sleeping so peacefully - ahhhhhh.....
