Poor Levi

My poor baby hurt his pinky toe today.  :(  The boys and I headed over to my parent's this morning so I could wash windows, and after that my mom and I were trying to get some lunch stuff ready.  Levi pulled a table leaf out of the rack and it fell on his toe.  I THINK it's going to be okay without a visit to the dr (Little toes look so funny anyways, how in the world do you know if it's broken??) - there's just a small cut, and the toe is red, but not swollen, and he's walking around fine.

The rest of lunch wasn't great even after Levi calmed down...I started dropping his morning nap about a week ago, and he can get rather cranky.  :)  But, if he takes a morning nap he won't take an afternoon nap, and we just can't have that!  Dropping the morning nap is a bit of an adjustment for me - I remember that with Caleb and Logan, too.  Going from having some "down time" in the morning AND afternoon to just morning takes a shift in thinking for the day.  (How in the world do I keep a 16-month-old occupied for several hours in a row???)  So, anyways, today we had to make a rather swift and chaotic exit from my parent's.  :)

It's a good thing Levi is so stinkin' cute, because he has been EXHAUSTING me lately!  :)  Wanting to climb on everything, push buttons on the tv, get into the bathroom, etc., etc., etc....  Really, how did I do this with two the same age??  I know it's terrible, but I kinda can't wait until he'll sit and watch tv...

Mike and I had a nice weekend away at a marriage retreat!  Of course it was a little hectic on Friday trying to get ready to go (with my three "helpers" running around), but that made the time away that much better.  :)  We were with about 8-9 other couples from our church, at a camp north a little ways.  The weather was great!  Mike and I were able to do some canoeing Saturday afternoon.  Saturday night we played volleyball for a couple hours and had so much fun!  And paid for it the next day.  I was a tad sore.  :)

Mike's last day of celery harvest is TOMORROW!!!!
