So, we're still working on the whole "stay in your crib" thing. The couple times we've caught Caleb trying to get out he's been disciplined, and he doesn't like it, but apparently he has a poor memory. This afternoon my mom was over so I could help her put together a photo book. We were working in my office when we heard a very loud thump. Knowing what it was I quickly ran to the room, and yes, there was Caleb on the floor (crying by this point). Not that a fall is good, but I'm glad no limbs were caught in the slats this time, and maybe this fall was enough to keep him from trying again?? We shall see.
Today we went to lunch with some friends that I used to work with and the boys did very well. Last time I went out with these friends Caleb ate his cheese way too fast and then puked big time. Rather embarrassing.
Mike is still recovering from the 25k. And for some reason he's lost his voice as well. You know Mike, he's a bit of a talker, so it's a bit frustrating for him. :)
what about one of those tent/canopy things they have for cribs?
ReplyDeleteI remember getting to the point where I admitted my babies were going to climb out and I did what I could to let it happen safely. The modern generation of moms have better solutions, I'm sure.
