The boys finally had their 12 month check-up today. No big surprises - Caleb is 31.25" long (75th percentile) and 21lb 11oz (25th percentile); and Logan is 28.5" long (10th percentile) and 19lb 6oz (5th percentile).
I felt like we terrorized the exam room - how in the world are you supposed to keep two one-year-olds occupied in a tiny room with all sorts of things to get into?? Was pretty funny to watch them walking around in their diapers though, and right after I made a comment about them looking like little sumo wrestlers, they walked right up to each other and hit their stomachs. The nurse enjoyed that. Thankfully we didn't have to wait long for the doctor, and he's got a couple drawers that he lets kids play in, so that helped.
We'll be going to a pediatric eye doctor for Caleb's eye. Hope we don't have to wait too long for that! It doesn't seem to bother him at all, but I'm getting a little tired of his red, goopy eye. :) Caleb's okay to switch to whole milk now, yay!
The doctor wasn't really concerned with Logan's size - we're still headed in the right direction, he's just small. He said we could still give him formula to get more calories in him, so I'll probably just finish up with what I've got in stock.
They did have to get two shots today. Poor guys! They didn't do too bad though. Hope they don't get sick from them or anything, we've got a big playdate tomorrow that I don't want to miss out on! :)
