We're pretty sure Caleb is saying 'bye-bye'! I think it started on Friday. It doesn't sound exactly like it, it's more like 'ba-ba', but he keeps saying the same thing and often at the right time. :)
We did a quick lap around the house in the sled on Saturday. Again it seemed like Logan enjoyed it a bit more than Caleb. Caleb got a little snow in the face a couple times when he tipped off the sled and wasn't a huge fan of that. There was enough snow that it was coming into the sled, and Logan was just playing with it. Caleb was curious enough to taste the snow.
So, after a couple separate incidents I guess I've decided that one of the motherly instincts you acquire when you have kids is ninja-like reflexes when it comes to protecting your babies. We made our family trip to the grocery store the other night. Since the boys have been out of their infant carriers we've found it works best for Mike to push one cart with the boys standing in it, and I take another cart for the groceries. (Yes, 'they' say not to let your kids stand in the cart, but getting the boys to sit like they're supposed to is nearly impossible.) Well, Mike and I were both looking on the shelves for something when I 'happen' to turn around and see Caleb tipping out of the cart. In a split second I managed to grab him - he was completely on the outside of the cart, head down, hanging on - he was shook up about it, and let me tell you, it got my heart rate up! My next concern was that someone in the store would get on us for being bad parents and letting our kids ride in the cart like that. :) I guess we have to come up with a new grocery shopping strategy!
Oh, I almost forgot! We're finally formula free!!! Logan finished transitioning yesterday so now both boys are on whole milk. Boy, does that make getting bottles ready easy. And, yes, we're working on the bottle to sippy cup transition. So, I guess until the boys start eating a bunch more they're actually pretty cheap to have around now. :)

Cute pic! Those boys will be swimming in good pics to choose from for their graduations and weddings some day.
