hazardous

Our injuries this week so far include a bruised lip for me (Logan got me with his head), a scrape on the nose and back of head for Caleb (two separate incidents), and a sore gum for Logan (didn't see it happen but he must have fallen and a bottom tooth cut his upper gum).  So, visitors beware!  :)

Yesterday it FINALLY snowed so we could take the boys sledding.  (Just pulling them around, not behind the tractor.)  I bought a sled several weeks back and we've been waiting and waiting for some snow.  It took us longer to get bundled up then it did to make our one lap around the yard, but it was worth it!  It seemed like Logan liked it a little better than Caleb - even though he fell off right onto his front!  Of course the dogs enjoyed it too, and the boys always enjoy seeing them.  :)

Logan's been extra cranky the last couple days.  Teething?  I put him down for nap early today because I just didn't know what else to do with him, hopefully he just sleeps extra otherwise I might not have much time that both boys are sleeping...

For those of you in my family, Logan loves pasta WITH sauce!  :)  It's been very hard to get the boys to try more table foods, but I discovered that Logan will really chow down on pasta.  They both will eat pickles, but Caleb especially likes them.  Mealtimes have been a general frustration, but I think we're making some slow progress.

A little while ago Caleb and I were hanging out (after Logan went down for his nap) and I told him to go get a book to read and he did!  We've got the smartest kids ever.  ;)

I feel like I had some other cute things to report on, but at the moment I'm drawing a blank.  Actually, with the kind of day it's been I'm impressed I remembered as much as I did.

Oh, on a different subject, for those of you interested in various technology, after looking around at different options we ended up buying a Roku to stream Netflix on our tv.  So far so good!

  1. Good call on the Roku. I don't use mine enough - but I would recommend using the Pandora channel as well which can come in handy when running around the house as you can listen to music at the same time.
