Well, it sure didn't take long to find out! (Read previous post if you haven't...) I went in the boys' room to get them up this morning and immediately smelled something different than pee or poop...looked at Logan and thought, "What in the world happened to his hair??"...and upon further investigation saw that he had thrown-up at some point. I don't know when it happened, it wasn't fresh. It was all over him, his crib, and a bit on the floor.
When we got downstairs and I started on diaper changes I knew something wasn't right with Caleb...even though he hasn't thrown-up again his poops haven't been normal. So, he had a messy diaper that had leaked.
On to breakfast time... I was trying to feed Caleb and Logan was just crying, crying, crying. And after awhile he wasn't the only one crying, if you know what I mean. :) I had a "I can't do this" moment, called Mike, and he was able to come home for a bit to help get things under control. We washed Logan's hair, which I had tried to wash up a bit, but it still stunk really bad. I kept laundry going, and we got a play area set up in the living room where it wouldn't be a huge deal to clean up puke, if necessary.
Thankfully, Caleb played very well by himself for most of the morning. Logan, on the other hand, cried ALL morning. Finally at lunchtime I fed Logan a little, really hoping he would keep it down. That seemed to calm him down and he didn't puke - phew! The rest of the day went much better. I let him have a little milk before bedtime, hope it sits well with him! I need a mess-free day tomorrow...
